We are at a mid-way place. On a remote and isolated island in the middle of the Pacific, twelve-hundred miles northwest of Hawaii.

This is a moment in time, a chance to witness and understand our role in an astonishing environmental tragedy. This is a place that provides context. Here, reflected in the beauty of the Albatross, is an unfolding horror. Yet it is a horror in which we see our own lives, a snapshot of our impact on the planet that challenges us to consider how to move forward.

so heartbreaking...what we do to them ...we do to ourselves....I pray you younger generation have the guts to make our world what it should be....We are their caretakers ....and look what we've done....

This breaks my heart, and to think that most do not care. What kind of planet will there be for our descendents?

This is absolutely heartbreaking; one of the saddest things I have ever seen because I know that this is just the tip of the iceberg. I can't believe how much damage human beings have already done - and that we continue to impact on the natural world like this.

I'll be looking out for the film this year and will share it far and wide. Thank you Chris.

Chris Jordan's work enlightened me, inspired me to rethink about how my daily life impacts the Earth & what I will do to change this. I weep for the Albatross... I also know the Angels r weeping as well. Karma is an unusual force. Action certainly will initiate a Re-Action. Such fools is mankind. Greed & Ignorance is humanities EVIL. Nature & all LIFES creatures is DIVINE!
