giant possum attack

3am huge possum in loungeroom attacks me while I'm trying t remove it. This is an Australian Brushtail Possum. Much larger and more viscious than the American Oppossum. It came down our chimney and when it jumped at my head twice I had to swat it away with the broom. It got to within 2ft of my face. Scared the crap outta me.

Thanks for your comment.. This possum is not the same as the Nth American Opossum. It is an Australian Brushtail Possum. We don't have rabies in Australia. This possum is bigger than a domestic cat, it has big sharp teeth and claws and can get very viscious. Google ustralian Brushtail Possum to see the difference. Thanks again..Dave
