There is no uniform last sales date of FH Classic throughout Europe. Each market decides on last sales date depending on market specific demand, transition rules, factory lead time etc. However, in markets where the emissions standard Euro6 will be mandatory for registrations by Jan 1st, 2014, sales of classic FH will be terminated before the end of 2013 as Classic FH is not designed to meet the Euro6 emission legislation.

Volvo thank you for response to my comments...like I said it is great comfort to drive Volvo and if I have to buy next truck I buy Volvo...when we speak about safety nothing come close to Volvo trucks... And I speak from experience ...if I send you pictures of my 2007' VN my driver just crush everybody is still asking me how is possible that the driver survive in that cab ? Thank you Volvo when it comes to safety you guys are 1....cheers. Mike

Also paint job on this VN models is very cheap in North America. I can see rust on both doors after 2 years that's is very wrong when you spend over $ 130 000 for each truck. Trucks are kept at my company extremely clean, always wash at least once a week. Just shame of poor quality, because here in N.America trucks are built for quantity not quality !

poor quality is dictated by they manage board politics,not because they dont have necesary skills,they will make more profit replasing your rusted doors ,than making a truck lasting ''forever''.

old trucks in general was more quality build than this new fast assembled, low cost of production pieces of ''advanced technology''
