Spinning a Cessna 172 SP

Stuart wanted to see what spinning was like, so we went up in the ‪http://CotswoldFlyingSchool.com‬ Cessna 172 and took it for a few spins.

The 172 is quite difficult to put into a spin unless you leave some power on until the spin is established. However recovery is normal and rapid once the correct recovery action is taken. Simply put that is full opposite rudder till the spinning stops. Stick forward to unstall the wings, then ease out of the dive and apply full power.
