  • Vote no on 1033 if you love your taxes to be even higher.

  • When I Iived in Colorado in the 90's, we never once saw a tax refund from too much property tax. Even if I had, the schools did not have paper or other supplies. We as parents had to do all sorts of fund raisers like bake sales, car washes, and had to sponsor kids walking laps around school. The Academy School District 20 was one of the best until Doug Bruce swindled poeple into this something for nothing deal called TABOR. Eymans I-1033 is the same thing. Don't be duped by your greed.

  • Of course 1033 slashes. The growth under 1033 is limited to the population growth two years ago and the budget from two years ago. This is because during the current year when you make the budget for the next year, the figures are just coming out for the previous year. Obviously you have not read the proposed legislation.

  • Funding for services for seniors comes from property taxes. Cuts in property taxes means savings to the ultra-rich and their malls, shopping centers and apartment buildings. Fewer benefits like medicaid.

If you want to help Tim Eyman and his Billionaire friends get rich on your back, vote for it.

  • Wow, this bill affects schools AND senior citizens!? How does that work?!

  • Fearmongering hits the nail on the head.

    Didn't Obama say "personal responsibility?"

Personal responsibility is planning for your own hospital care and eventualy nursing care. Its NOT relying on the government. Take care of yourself, I don't want to pay for someone else's mistakes.

  • Fearmongering? About a TIM EYMAN initiative? Considering the actual bill, I think the ad is pretty understated!

  • This video is a lie. 1033 doesn't "slash" funding for anything. State revenue will still grow if this initiative passes, albeit more slowly. The initiative itself does not cut anything--lawmakers make those decisions based on available funding. This ad is fearmongering, plain and simple.
