The song is hopeful, light and kinda romantic. This is a great video but doesn't fit the song. To the guy who complained about floating boxes, you want to put the realism of THIS video against that? This is even more out there than the winner. Besides, look at the band, their themes, Teen Angst is one of my favorites on another album...the teens in the winner...it's really their niche....who they're writing and singing to, look at graveyard girl...case in point.
what a brilliant beginning, and slowly you just fucked everything up, with those singin skeletons and pschyedelia, you coulda just stuck to the whole post industrial "stalker" theme, and built it up more dramatically, rather making it funny and weird, lol what was that red cap dude doing in front of the moon image, hilarious shite, try to keep yr theme and story coherent and dramatic, all the best for the future.
However, I don't get it. I mean, I get the whole thing, and as I said, excellent vid, but I don't feel anything, it's too literal (at least to me). Of course, it's a different perspective and it's interesting though, but still, doesn't move me.
That's my opinion and I don't want anyone to feel insulted.
lol, dig your nickname. well mothcreative could find another band and send them this video and swap the audio tracks; this vid wasnt too apropriate for we own the sky, but i am sure it will be just fit for another song; its such a waste of talent, its a pity this video must be removed
i think it's an interesting take on we own the sky; it's creative and beautifully done. imo it's just an overall better video and i don't understand how fucking floating boxes beat this video.
none of the videos have to be removed - they just can't claim to be the 'official' video.
