Location:
The resort is situated in a 15-acre jungle sanctuary in Pahang's National Park, some 60km away from Kuala Tembeling jetty by riverboat. It is a Malaysian-style eco-resort overlooking the Tembeling & Tahan rivers. The Park Canopy Walkway is about a 30-minute walk away.

Facilities:
The hotel features 108 chalets, bungalows and guest-houses, all built in Malaysian-style, complete with natural timber for that rustic charm effect. The hotel offers a lobby with a hotel safe and currency exchange facility. A restaurant, café and a laundry service also feature.

Rooms:
The hotel offers various accommodation types, from typical Malay timber chalets to bungalows and guest houses. There are also dormitories, hostels and a 2.5 acre camping ground available. All rooms have showers with hot and cold running water, individually adjustable air conditioning and a ceiling fan.

Sports/Entertainment:
Taman Negara is a particularly favourable destination for trekking, as the park's remarkable biodiversity is matched by a good network of jungle trails and the availability of expert guides. The park is also noted for fishing, especially along the upper reaches of the Tahan or Kenyam rivers. Guests may also enjoy rafting the rapids of Sungai Tembeling. Peninsular Malaysia's highest mountain, Gunung Tahan (2,187 meters), is located in Taman Negara, and climbing the mountain is an unforgettable experience. Due to the scarcity of water along the route, the journey must be done in two stages, and an experienced guide is compulsory. At least three days are required for the journey to the summit and back.

Meals:
Seri Mutiara Restaurant serves up delicious local and western favourites. Terasek Cafetaria is a self service diner that offers traditional and continental fare.

Payment:
American Express, VISA and MasterCard accepted at the hotel.

How to get there:
By car: From Kuala Lumpur take the Kuantan Highway. Exit at Mentakab (2-hour drive) From Mentakab, head north to Jerantut town (45 minute drive). It is another 50 minutes (70 kilometers) to Kuala Tahan (Taman Negara). Be careful driving along this stretch as the roads are rough. A regular car can handle it but it a four wheel drive would be the more sensible option. Continue straight on to Kuala Tahan. After about 2 hours on the road look for the jetty to the hotel. Guests are requested to park their cars at the jetty and continue on by boat to the hotel. The boat ride across the river to the hotel takes about 10 minutes.
