The Media workshop's production which was made during the Visions 4 2moro Youth Conferrence in Corrymeela, Ballycastle, Northern Ireland. It was featured at Cinemagic's Young Filmaker 2006 in the QFT, one of only few films from Northern Ireland. Apologies for the random writing on it, that was the only programme that would let me convert it. Enjoy!
PS - I am aware of the visible boom mic... I spoke to Ben (who worked with us) about it this summer. when this was edited, the boom mic was not visible on screen. It was only noticable when we had our first screening and got our DVD copies. Nobody is completely sure how or why it happened, but it did. And for this years film group, they were able to prepare for this possible problem ;) So yes, the boom mic is annoying, but it was something out of our control at the time.

  • I was the same, until my mum asked me if i was gay.

It was one of the best things that ever happened to me, especially since im now in a long term relationship with my bf.

The freedom you get is absolutely amazing, you feel free to be yourself, there aren't many greater gifts than that.

  • I am bi and I don't try to make people be like me. I accept everyone for who they are no matter what. Unless they are a murderer or rapist or something O.o

  • @tineeeable Accept him, love him and be there for him. Open the dialogue between you and him, allowing him to see that his family is there for him no matter what. Bug the crap out of him to open up about his problems. And since he's being bullied, you (or your parents) need to talk to the school about anti-bullying programs. Talk to the school and the teachers about how to spot bullying and how to prevent it. We don't need more unneeded deaths, especially of our youth.

  • I was so confused at the beginning about your Mom and......Dad? But then I caught on. XD

  • I have a question concerning my younger brother (17). I am a girl from Tennessee.I`m 18, have 2 older brothers (20&22), an older half sister older (24) and an older half brother (26). We live in a normal family. We go to college, have fun do sports and are usually (I know, it sounds arrogant) liked. But my little brother is different. He gets bullied, cause he`s gay. It took him a long time to tell us. He even became suicidal! And even though we accept him,it is hard.

How can I help him? Please??

  • Have you ever seen the play "Removing the Glove?" Same concept but the substitute being left handed for being LGBT.

  • Really well filmed aside from the Mic man.
