Tropiques Amers - Extrait 2

Lizland Films et France 3 présentent "Tropiques Amers" La première série télévisée française consacrée à la période de l'esclavage ! Produite par Elizabeth Arnac et réalisée par le metteur en scène de « Neg Marron », le Guadeloupéen Jean-Claude Barny, la série Tropiques Amers sera prochainement diffusée sur France 3, une chaine du service public. Récemment saluée au FIPA de Cannes et au Fespaco, Festival panafricain du cinéma et de la télévision de Ouagadougou, la série de 6 épisodes de 52 minutes fait déjà parler d'elle, en France et à l'étranger. Tournée entre mai et septembre derniers en Martinique et à Cuba, "Tropiques Amers" raconte la vie sur une plantation martiniquaise de la fin du 18° siècle au début du 19° siècle alors que l'abolition de l'esclavage est votée. Esclavagisme et liberté, amour et haine se retrouvent liés dans ce fantastique portrait d'une partie sombre de l'histoire de France. Les rôles principaux sont tenus par Jean-Claude Adelin, Fatou N'Diaye, Jean-Michel Martial, Jacky Ido, Léa Bosco... Le scénario est signé par Virigine Brac et l'historienne martiniquaise, Myriam Cottias. Rendez-vous en mai sur France 3 pour les premiers épisodes...

OMG ,he gets killed at the end , there are parts in the show they have 6 parts that come on different days yesterday part 1 came on on march 29th part 2 is on,see they are all in parts and yes it is displeasing to watch I totally feel like I understand this story see she is getting raped,the other girl is his mistress who gets jealous of people

In Canada, Québec --> there's no tv station called Radio-Quebec as far as I know, I think you mixed Télé-Québec and Radio-Canada toghether, lol. For my part I had the chance to see parts of this amazing mini-série on Télé-Québec.

I can't explain it but it just makes me feel ehh uncomfortable, not good in any order.

it's crazy cause when i see those type of things, I get a thought of damn what kind of position would i be in in that time. Plus the fact that some white people (well in holland) aren't even a shamed of their colonial past and being all racist & having fun with it.
