Years ago, Christianity was depicted in a positive way in media programs. Lately, have you noticed the media to be biased and anti-God? What impact does this leave on society? Tune in this week when The Coral Ridge Hour answers this question and more!

Media Revolution: A Battleplan To Defeat Mass Deception In America
Brian E. Fisher
We've been lied to. We've been lied to for more than fifty years by a powerful and pervasive media presence whose effects and influence we rarely question. These lies taint our thoughts and muddy our worldview so that often we cannot see the truth. This is the claim Brian Fisher, President and CEO of Coral Ridge Ministries makes in his book, Media Revolution. But there is hope. Although the "media of mass deception" has been negatively influencing culture for more than five decades, it is now losing its monolithic grip on the flow of information in America.

Technology has opened up the world of media influence in a historically pivotal way. The democratization of media now gives anyone who desires the opportunity to share truth with those captivated by lies and deception. The time of secular media domination has ended.

The "media revolution" has begun!

  • the thing is that christianity is as oppressive as islam.. it takes away freedom and forces you to conform to bullshit

  • @XcellentXistence Actually, Christ sets you free from the bondage of sin. Besides that, you get to know the Great I AM, up-close and personal. He is the greatest journey anyone could ever choose.

  • Well said.

  • Thank you. This is still true.

Film is such a powerful vehicle. Someone should fight fire with fire. Do you know any Christian film makers?

  • Um... President Bartlett? He was a person who was portrayed as wise and knowledgeable and respected. Both the character and actor is a Christian.

  • @CoralRidgeMinistries how are you free when they tell you you own them everything, and are you free is they tell you if you don't worship them you will go to hell from ethernity.

  • @XcellentXistence you obviously don't know what your talking about.

  • Ah, yes, the golden age of film. A time of wholesome family entertainment, blatant racism, and stifling sexual repression.

About today's media; is it so wrong that people are shown denying God? Should the atheist POV be ignored? And have you ever heard of Tyler Perry? I'm not exaggerating when I say that EVERY ONE of his films, plays, and tv shows have at least one positive character who is a Christian and all of his work has an underlying current of faith in God.

  • I know, they always portray religious people as either obsessed, ignorant, or hypocritical.
