Who the f. do you think you are? nothing is 100% known. Everybody can change and heal without science has an answer to it. Before you say things as "humanity is mature enough to deal with the consequences of such science" FIND A CURE 4 CANCER, AIDS ect. We are already with to many people on earth, witch is polluted. Clone the earth for godsake. U wanna change? Begin with yourself. Find solution for the problems that are urgent to be solved NOW. pretension, prediction brings nothing.

All this technology is reserved for the "elite" after everyone else is eliminated. The fact is that this technology and ideas similar to this have existed and have been cultivated for decades. The reason we don't hear about it is because the legislation hasn't passed. J.D. Rockefeller is currently financing deep, deep research into life extension technology via the Rockefeller University. Exactly. I have a friend who is writing a film about this. In his film humans are all over 6 feet tall, beautfiul and smart and then a mad scientist creates these freak creatures based on fiction like werewolves and real vampires and then the human race has to create real "XMEN" to fight them...the crazy thing is that this is a possible future for humans

There's is something to be said for that view. Besides, I personally don't think humanity is mature enough to deal with the consequences of such science.
With all the competing, bickering political parties, religions, ideologies and philosophies out there we'd destroy ourself with stuff like this. Humankind may never grow up and be ready for such changes.
