  • I think my biggest concern is that if this is launching July 4th - there should at least be some kinda website already in place.

  • "The last game I played was pong" I stopped watching after hearing this and proceeded to choke on my tongue after laughing at this guy.

  • "For gamers, by gamers"

....and the last game the CEO played was Pong....

What I see is a stuffed suit with dollar signs in his eyes wondering how to best cash in on the $8 Billion a year gaming industry.

  • So far it's 2 months past the "initial launch" and nothing happened. Well at least they got about $370 from it. What bothers me is that Empire Arcadia, a very trusting and pioneering group of pro gamers where a part of it. Either they were tricked or in on the scam.

  • EPIC FAIL IT WAS A SCAM LOL.

  • lol, this thing appears to be in shambles already (surprise...). Not one scrap of news or info on the site has been updated since the day it launched. The forums have a whopping 25 total posts from about 10 people who somehow got tricked into paying 10 bucks just to post in a completely dead forum, haha. Half of the posts are already complaints about how nothing is going on with wwfog. Either these guys have no idea what they are doing, or they just launched the site WAY too early. Or both.

  • rudy: how come you took down all your scam videos ... did a mexican named jesus save you or something?

  • CGS was only about certain games this is ALL AROUND gaming

  • To emphasize: It would be VERY cool to see this work....to have another competitive gaming body out there could only be beneficial to players. Perhaps the random element of competitions might be the thing other organizations missed. This way it doesn't just become a "Halo league" or a "GTA" league....

  • This is a great idea....but I think that, after so many years of there being free gaming/records resources, I can't imagine too many players "buying into this," literally.

If it COULD be run like the NFL, wouldn't the costs and prize money be covered by fans who either came to events or logged in to watch like a "PPV?"

I think the Gamers Championship Series, which Scot Rubin had ended AGI to help with, was very similar to this...but never really got going. We'll see what happens here...

  • how could she put with this douche for four straight minutes?

nice 'reporting' softballing a guy whose business is 'for gamers by gamers' and hasn't played a game since PONG.

  • Good point it is about time all GREAT gamers of all kinds get paid,we are just like any other sport and or athaletes

  • Sounds stupid tbh
