1999 Oklahoma 4A High School State Tournament Introductions: Mannford vs. OKC McGuinness

This was my Senior year of High School, and we made it to the state tournament and played Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness in the quarterfinals. They were the #1 ranked team in the entire state of Oklahoma (any class) and the 25th ranked team in the country at the time. They had Terrence Crawford who played at Oklahoma State, Jonathan Bluitt who played at ORU, J. Robert Merritt who played at Samford and Junior Amos who was a 1st team All State selection. Their average margin of victory during their regular season was 22 points, so we didn't feel too bad when they "only" beat us by 18 and they went on to win the whole thing.
