Wow, I'm new to detecting but decided to start big with a White model VX3. I love the unit so far, but you've got me wanting to do the beach hunting! What advice can you give me for making one of those floating mesh boxes you use in the video's? I was thinking about trying to make a lightweight version out of pvc pipe and mesh, any thoughts or suggestions? Anyways, your video's have been a great inspiration.. thanks and good hunting!

I was using the Minelab Excaliber II, those beaches are on Lake Michigan.
