ATRON meta-module self-reconfigures around obstable

The ATRON self-recongurable robot
consists of simple interconnected modules which can self-reconfigure. Motion constraints of the individual modules are reduced by using meta-modules composed of three modules.

In this video a meta-module must move from one corner to the opposite corner. Movement is blocked by an obstacle unknown to the meta-module. The meta-module detects the obstacle by collision and finds its way around it by trying alternative routes.
