  • Did you both apply at the same time and got a aproove?..I'm looking forward to going to a country other then Canada with my friend. Since we need a placement(School) for the summer.

  • @69guidos

We applied about a month apart, but I got my visa's start date delayed by a month so it worked out the same. No problems in getting approved, just some paperwork to fill out and an appointment at the British Consulate. Hope that helps!

  • Is it very hard to find a job and a place where to stay? I'm very interested about this program and I wish I'll realise my dream which is going to the UK!

  • @Drewfan30s

I guess it partially depends on how picky you are about what work you want and where you want to live. We got our first jobs in two days, and it came with a place to stay. When we moved to Belfast it took about a week to find a place and 3 weeks to find jobs.

With the SWAP programme you also have access a resource office in London which has job postings, posts for places to stay and staff you help you out. If your dream is to come to the UK then got for it!

  • Thanks so much, I've wanted to learn more about the program because i plan to do Ireland, and was really hoping to hear non website testimonials and the real deal I'm glad things have gone so well for you and congrats on winning the contest :)

  • @xotonixo

Since the video we've moved to Belfast, N. Ireland and it is amazing! People are really friendly and there is so much to see and do. I'd definitely encourage you to do Ireland, good luck!
