This little hummer would visit my garden frequently. Yet she rarely landed on the feeder because she was on the lookout for the dominant female. The dominant female was very protective of her Cape Honeysuckle, Nanho Blue Butterfly Bushes, and the feeder.

  • @JohnElwaymaniac - Ah, it's pretty easy for me to control it since I have this one in a large stone pot. It did start intruding on the butterfly bushes, but a little pruning is all it takes. Two years ago I planted one, and ended up pulling it out that winter because the cold killed it. The surface roots stretched about four feet in some directions!
