Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) started large-scale war games in the Persian Gulf and the strategic Strait of Hormuz on April 22, 2010.

Naval, air, and ground units from the IRGC were involved in these military drills codenamed "The Great Prophet 5" which lasted for three days.

IRGC reported that in this maneuver, a new radar evading high speed vessel with great destructive capability was successfully tested.

A total number of 313 speed boats with rocket firing capability were involved in the war games.
