  • You are right there is one upcoming slum in Embakasi near donholm.

  • Slytheron, you're right I forgot about Ringera's salary but don't blame me coz many Kenyans including politicians are always forgetfull.

  • The Europeans and North Americans will still be attracted to other slum areas e.g Korogocho, and don't forget that some new slums will come up. Kibera was the largest and oldest bit we still have Khayiaba and many more. Come 2012 all these projects will be abandoned.

  • I Pray n hope ths does not get stuff-in-the-mad and becomes a white elephant like many projects we hav seen b4. Very good move thou!!

  • We wacha porojo. This is better than using it to pay Ringera. What's more, it's public property and if you hadn't noticed, they ARE the public. Also CDF money was used in this project.

  • Won't the white people from Europe and North America get depressed for what is happening to their tourist attraction site; Aka Soweto? has anybody thought about that? What will wazungus have to say about Africa now? I wanted the slums to remain so that I can continue denying i'm kenyan every time they show Kenya on the TV in UK coz that's all we see. Now I don't know anymore.

  • These people were being given special treatment to an extent of hiring buses for their transportation from point A-B. It's not worth because it's avery short distance. The money for transportation could have helped in buying food to afew needy people elsewhere. Next they'll expect the gvt to feed them after providing shelter. Don't you think this will promote laziness? could be it's an advance compaign with tax payers money. I feel the gvt did enough .

  • uplifting...lol
