CGRundertow CONDUIT 2 for Nintendo Wii Video Game Review

Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Conduit 2 from High Voltage Software and SEGA for the Nintendo Wii. One of the only notable third party Wii releases of 2011, Conduit 2 is a sequel to the 2009 game The Conduit. Michael Ford is still on a chase for John Adams, a jerk who wants to use the power of alien race for his own nefarious purposes. It's again up to Ford to take Adams down in a story that never has much appeal. This is a shooter in an old-school vein, focusing more on giving players cool ways to shoot aliens than telling them cool stories about aliens. Conduit 2 is all about the gameplay. The levels are laid out like an action movie, stringing together enemy ambushes and gun fights with very brief cut scenes. Conduit 2 is a gorgeous shooter that doesn't spare targets or ammunition, but it furthers that action with an assembly of characters that are, unfortunately, far less enjoyable. Super Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, and Paper Mario to name a few. The N64 remakes were simply to make sure we had games to play while waiting for the new games. The argument is getting very old.

@TheMageOfWindVaati These are the games I got this holiday season: Skyrim, Forza 4, King of Fighters 13, Arkham City. Meanwhile, new Zelda looks worse than the Gamecube Zelda. I'm pretty sure I picked the right system.

@similaritiesendhere You won't be saying the Wii U is a rip-off once Sony and Microsoft make an accessory just like it. Although Nintendo uses some familiar characters, they always add new ideas to it. And seeing your other comment, the only 64 remakes on the 3DS are Ocarina of Time and StarFox 64. Usually, you use etc. when there are more than 4 things that aren't worth listing.

geez don't over think this game. It's men to be a straightforward shooter and dose a great job of it. One of the best on the wii.

I love Conduit 2 alot and it's awesome ! :) The enemy A.I are really tough and smart when you are playing on a higher difficultylevel. This game has really amazing and high tech graphics and one of the best looking Wii-game i have seen :) . The bossfights were fun and epic as well.

The multiplayer is amazing like in GoldenEye 007 on Wii and it works more smoothly now then in the first game because of the hackers.

its sad no one but wii players will know how good the controlls are,people are to ignorant to think differently about analog controlls,even my freinds think im crazy,i could never play a fps on an other console and have fun
