FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY TWO FILIPINO CLERGY PARTICIPATED IN THE SECOND NATIONAL CONGRESS OF THE CLERGY HELD AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER, MANILA, PHILIPPINES, JANUARY 25-29, 2010. THE BIG EVENT COINCIDES WITH THE CELEBRATION OF THE YEAR OF THE PRIESTS IN HONOR OF ST JOHN MARIE VIANNEY, PATRON SAINT OF PARISH PRIESTS. THE THEME OF THE CONGRESS IS FAITHFULNESS OF CHRIST, FAITHFULNESS OF PRIESTS. Keynote speaker is REV. FR. RANIERO CANTALAMESSA, OFMCap Preacher of the Papal household. On the fourth day, Bishop Chito Tagle of Imus, Cavite gave a powerful talk on Pastoral Challenges. It was delivered with moving passion and emotions.
