These comments put me in mind of that pilot who thought he was indestructible that flew that B52 into the ground on that famous bit of film, I wonder how many people made excuses for him over the years? He's just a hotshot pilot doing what hotshot pilots do, right?
Right up until he takes the whole crew with him in a fireball, then all of a sudden he's a cowboy who should have been grounded and there's just so much blame to go around everyone gets a piece. We're all such geniuses aren't we.
