Everything Which is...Yes - World Premier @ Santa Cruz Film Festival

Everything Which is... Yes is the emotional story of how veteran documentary filmmaker, David Hoffman (Santa Cruz, CA) coped with the devastating results of a fire that destroyed his home, his personal film archive and the treasured collections he had built over 45 years.
Determined to "make something good out of something bad", Hoffman began to videotape himself as a record for his young sons of what the loss meant to him.
He takes us on a tour of his burned property and the result is an inspiring glimpse into his life and times, his distinct way of seeing the world and his remarkable career as a pioneer of documentary film-making, featuring stunning clips from many of his unique and important films.
Most importantly, Hoffman's stated philosophy leaves us with an uplifting sense of perseverance and a strong testament to the notion that we all have the capacity to make something good out of something bad.
