Im in the skiff as we lay out our seine at Steep Cape, Kodiak Alaska. The two retarded deck-monkeys taking the video are Jeremy and Tyler. Their names have not been changed because, quite frankly, neither one of them is innocent.

  • ok...how long?...looks pretty long.the seine we use for capelin is about 80 long and 18 deep. yours seems much longer...200, 250 long?

  • yeah 250 fathoms long. but we dont purse it all. if i remember right we pursed about 135 fathoms on that particular net
