Note: I avoid using elemental weaknesses because they tend to make matches too one-sided.
This is a match against the water club leader "Amy" in Pokémon Trading Card Game for Game Boy Color (US release, 2000). Emulated in VisualBoyAdvance.
Back in the day this game was an awesome release for me. Pretty much everyone at my school was collecting the cards, but none of the other kids knew the rules of the game and most of them didn't know English well enough to read the cards (they weren't translated). I used to play against myself, but then this game came out and I never went back to the cards again. It's not the same as playing against a real person, but this game has all the cards of the original series (Base, Jungle & Fossil) and it saves the trouble of handling the cards and the damage markers (however, to some that may be a part of the card game's charm). The AI is surprisingly good. Of course there are a lot of downsides to it as well. The card graphics are faithful to the originals, but can't compete with the beauty of the real cards. Another big drawback is that you don't have the whole play area in your view and you can't be aware of all the benched pokémon in play without checking the play area option all the time.
Cool u still playing it, I recently downloaded it because i remembered it existed XD.

they should make more of these, like the yugioh card game games, there is one every year, there should be newer installments of this game too.
