She was a truly beautiful woman, a wonderful mother, very much in love with her husband, and a Russian patriot. She she was "unwise" does not take away from her strengths.
Her last known letter while she was a prisoner, to a friend abroad which she was allowed to post, shows also that she had a great love for mankind. In it she write that she believes in the goodness and wisdom of the Russian people.
I wish I could say the same.

The fact that she was more interested in her family, and supportive of her husband, Nicholas II was a major influence to the fall of the Romanov Dynasty, which would later be the cause of her death in 1918. There would be nothing i could admire about her, she was a shy, adamant figure who fell for a confidence man and couldn't
accept reality.

alexandra is probably the most unpopular of the romanov family, but i think she was gravely misunderstood and in general i think she was a wonderful woman. she may have been stubborn, bad-tempered and a bad ruler, but despite that, she was a loving woman and wife and mother. Long live Empress Alexandra!!
