Brilliant, I was thinking about doing the exact same thing using radio controlled servos and radio controlled parts like wind speed detectors etc...Thanks for the video!

a class fuckin job dude would like to see it with the nose cone off

awesome job I really like it a lot

Looks quite cool, but you will need to watch out for the power surges caused by gusts, as it takes quite a while to drive the mechanism from one end to the other.

I'd love to see some video of it in action in the wind.

Great work on that design , I'm fearful of instantaneous super powerful gusts that would smoke that turbine in 2 seconds before your servos even had a chance to turn ten degrees. But there's nothing like three years up on a tower to feel secure about it. You couldn't beat it for manual feathering it when you know a storm is coming. I'll stay subscribed so I can stay posted. I'm curious about this wonderful design.

@Bubblytubebob Hi Rob . We dont have those sudden gusts here. Feathering a few degrees has a direct braking effect . Its not running day and night . I have a small battery bank 230 amps. At full bat. I stop manually. Its a prototype doing good for 6 months now,and I like a bit of perfection.
