Ahhh very good on the Vietnam QSO. Yeah, my buddy was afraid to activate nam at that time as well. Could you imagine the pile up? How would you QSL, sort of self incriminating would'nt you say?? Back to you old man. WA4RRN de Wa3YPX

WA3PYX...I was WN4FLR '67-'68 and entered the Army in mid-'68...determined to be an Infantryman. Got me wish. We provided security for a SF camp near the Camodian border in III Corps for a while and they used a KWM-2 for their long distance commo...seems like it was in the 5 mHz region. I tried to talk their RTO into allowing me to try a little illegal CW on 20M with stateside hams. LOL,,,He told me the ASA would have his ass if he did!
