Johnathan would be happy to do that one. Any excuse to get out the miniskirt and stilletos

lol, I liked this vid.
The dj at my post-prom back in high school was an ok dj (as in the music stopped completely for about 5 minutes becuase he hit the wrong button or something), but he was wearing some nice clothes, similar to what you're wearing. So, he was an ok DJ that was looking good, which earns a bonus in my book, not some slob kinda dj.

At most gigs, I take my shoes off and dance in my socks. Nobody can see my feet when I am DJing as I have an LED Starcloth DJ Booth. When I am leaving the stage or stepping out where people can see thats when I put me shoes back on.

How about one of those tux tee shirts?

Looking good! I'm a tux wearing DJ myself, and I have to agree with jiblethead88 the tux always gets the utmost respect. Also I find them very comfortable, the shoes, now that's a different story but I've learned to live with it.

I also bring a pair of black tennis shoes. I only use these for loading in & loading out. The reason is that after wearing dress shoes for the whole gig, it's nice to change shoes. Gives your feet a break. Also, these tennis shoes don't stand out because they are black. If they were white, it would draw attention to your feet right away. Black tennis shoes are great for load ins & load outs.
great vid as always. I'm a tuxedo guy. However, I don't overshadow the wedding party because I'm wearing black, with a black vest and black tie (not a bow tie). I figure I should look one notch below the groom.
Good point about looking neat and feeling good. My tux is the most comfortable suit I own - suspenders mean my shirt is always hanging properly.
Another note about the tux, people think I'm in charge. No one argues with the guy in the tux (I'm 6'4", so maybe that helps a bit).

I don't know... I've argued with a waiter or two in my day.
Yeah, the size is FOR SURE on your side. HA!

Personally, I think the Dockers "look" appears a little cheap for a wedding. A nice pair of fitted dress pants would look a lot better and more dressed up.
For an event outside a wedding... the Dockers look might work.
Sorry, you just look cheap, common, and ordinary in the Dockers!

Well, your OPPINION is I look Cheap, Common, and Ordinary.
My oppionon is that I do look Common & Ordinary. That's the look I'm going for. I don't want to stand up there & be the center of attention or dress like I'm a member of the Wedding Party. I'm dressed pretty much like the Bride's cousin is dressed.
I feel it's almost empathy with the crowd. It's practical and works for me.

I can't wear the shoe brands he mentioned. Unfortunately, there are very few shoe manufacturers that handle EEEE sizes.
New Balance makes some post office rated shoes.
They come in black. They're not the prettiest shoe out there, but they sure help my feet.
What is the name of the "cut" of the second shirt? "Husky"?

Strangly enough, I have a similar problem with shoes. Thing is, my feet are small so it's hard to find shoes at most malls, shoe stores, etc.
hmm I have no idea. It's just the way the shirt is cut. Quality shirts usually have a better quailty taylord cut
