Thanks, Michael, this is generous stuff. I saw "Reckless" in New York and loved it. You two def had great chemistry up there and this poem is an exquisite glimpse into the fleeting but electric joy of working with someone like that on stage. Thank you for all of your work.

A bit of trivia: Mr O'Keefe is an ordained Zen priest and former husband of blues guitarist Bonnie Raitt. He was also "Danny Noonan" in Caddyshack amongst many other film and television appearances...

Just finished reading his new book SWIMMING FROM UNDER MY FATHER.
His voice and work remind me of DYLAN THOMAS
