It might just be a continuity error, but "Think what the face of boe said" Jack looks down. "His dying words" Jack looks up. Right before Martha was going to finish the YANA speech, Jack stared back down like he was expecting something. Methinks he was expecting one of his old catchphrases..

@MegaCrazyhand yeah but he's saying that the character Jack would have been confused if she said the face of boe
-
I couldn't even hear what they said. The video quality here is pathetic.
-
@Bromthebard Because he was called the Face of Boe back in his childhood modeling career.
-
How the heck would he know that he is the future Face of Boe, when he doesn't become that for a few million years?
-
or boe was after this jack and he didnt know and presumed there was another one

So, in reality, it's actually Martha who delivers the 'You are not alone' message. Jack only remembered it from here. Kept it with him. Knew when to deliver it. I'd say Davies pretty much has all his ducks in a row. Learn to view it from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint. Then you'll see it's a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey.... stuff...

Why isn't it possible that Jack not flinching is them simply not giving away any thing reveled later in the episode?
-
Jack doesn't flich BUT he does a slight "wtf?" face if you watch it.
The universe is about to end, I don't think that Jack's childhood modelling days are going to be forefront on his mind.

I always assumed that Martha mentioning the face of boe at that point was the whole reason thatg Jack told them that he used to get called the face of boe. Otherwise it's just some random fact tagged on. And he blantently does a bit of a double-take when Martha says it...
