If God always gives the world his word in one language (as KJV advocates say of English), then the KJV is certainly not that language, for God chose Koine GREEK not ENGLISH to reveal his New Covenant!
I am new to the idea that the king James is the only good and true translation in English. I look back now and see why I had such a hard time seeking God reading the niv etc. if there is one Jesus and one way to the father it would only make sense that there would be one correct and true translation in every language. Think about it. Pray about it. Stop fighting and really seek the truth.
I am glad to finally be able to post on a kjvo debunkers YouTube video. The anti kjvo always have their comments blocked....The point here is that since you are blinded and unwilling to hear the truth, you will not. The problem here is the kjv makes way more sense and addresses the whole heart of God's word perfectly. The other versions open the door for many problems. That is why the church is in such horrible shape today. I am new to the idea that the king James is the only good
@Lethalhabit I am replying to a comment you posted 1 year ago. Just so you know, the word in the KJV from Acts 12:4 for Easter was taken from the Greek word G3957 Pascha, in relation to the Hebrew word H6453 Pesach, which its root comes from Hebrew word H6452 Pasach, and is translated as Passover. I got this from Strong's Concordance.
Easter derives from Ishtar, which derives from Astarte, which is the name of a pagan god.
So which do you think is a better rendering of Acts 12:4?
@jesusdied1 in your reply to icartoon2, you reminded me of Colossians 3:8. You would benefit in memorizing this verse prior to posting comments that can be labeled as filthy communication.
@icartoon2 Stop your babbling Ass wipe!! Get on your knees right now and BEG for Jesus, your SAVIOR to have mercy on your shitty life! You're nothing but a piece of smelly soft dog shit full of sin! ONLY through the love of your loving God can you get a fresh start like I once did! Without Jesus in your heart your hell bound where once their you surely will spend eternity(let that sink in, it's forever)with terrible suffering and gnashing of teeth! Convert now and be bound for heaven like me
Is it just me or does the host look like TheAmazingAtheist? That being said, great discussion, and well supported.
FYI KJVOism is (as I see it) blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It is stating that God is not capable of preserving His word before 1611 or since without the help of man. That is amazing to me.
The Bible is the Word of God. But its perfection is in its message. People should not obscess over specific verses. This goes for people on both sides of this argument.
