The reason why they put it in that cartoon is because if you notice,when the pie hits the kids face the ladder dissapears so the kid would fall when he tried to get back down and I think he said,"Strawberry!My favorite kind!",because they probably thought kids would wonder what flavor pie it was.

I am the voice on this cartoon, I did it in the mid 60's, I am 51 now and teach. My father is Bob Arbogast who did many voices on Sesame Street and wrote for the show. I can not believe this was on you tube. This is so fun to hear myself, its like a time machine. They pay me 260 dollars a year since about 1966 or so. John
