@dubinthedam I'd surely second that dub. I bought a tin of it around a month ago and it's far and away my favourite vanilla blend. Had to get the loose cut because they didn't have the flake, but plan on getting that with my next order of tobacco.

Well done--short and to the point.

@hippymilk Happens with cigars as well. It's called "bloom." It is caused by the natural sugars in the tobacco during the aging process. If you are unsure and want to get rid of your tins, however, I'm sure Pearse and I could help you out there, hippy!

very good vid, I enjoyed this very much as i puff on a nice fat bowl of penzance - wonderful!

I do not like Penzance. It has a taste like licorice to me. I didn't enjoy my tin very much. Mine had been aged for a year as well. He explained it well. It tastes like tar.
can you tell me which vanila is it please?

@tomspeed2005 Vanilla Cream by Mac Barens is the best vanilla blend in the world....nothing comes close...really.

Hey there, I recently just opened up a jar of aged penzance myself and was really bummed that there was white dusty mold all over it. It seems like this is normal if yours had it too? Is it still safe to smoke? I really don't want to throw out 8oz of 1year aged Penzance... that would be to discard a bit of heaven...

@hippymilk Thats how it's supposed to be, it maybe a bit on the dry side if it's an old tin.
