And yes, the movie sucks and that mother in the movie should be hanged and stoned - she is a pig and a lowlife!

Barbara Hershey is the most obnoxious actress I have had the misfortune to watch. Her breathy "I'm in the middle of an orgasm" voice is monotone. Her face is wooden. Who does she know who gives her her roles?

@paisleytea These supermodels are TOO thin. This is not a (so called) standard of beauty that can be achieved by every woman.The media promotes and celebrates this look. You are right in this respect of objectifycation. BTW many of these supermodels do develop eating disorders and some die of them.

@fullmoondrivein Assuming that the supermodels are to blame for all eating disorders is wrong. It's objectification of women and rude to boot. Men are not the target. I won't say it can't be part of it, all the pressure, but it is not the cause.

This movie makes eating disordered people look like insane creeps who help each other die. Sure, some people do that crazy stuff, but not most. I have had anorexia for nine years and I would never in my life wish it upon anyone else never mind help any of the other girls I had been in facilities with get sicker.
