NO GREATER BAND HAS EVER GRACED A STAGE. NO BETTER GROUP OF MUSICIANS HAS EVER GIVEN SO MUCH TO US. THE GUITAR WORK OF BARRY BAILEY AND J.R. COBB IS INCOMPARABLE. RONNIE HAMMOND GAVE THE BAND WHAT THEY ALL WANTED........SUCCESS! UNTIL HE CAME ALONG THEY WERE JUST A VERY TALENTED GROUP OF MUSICIANS. THE INCARNATION OF TODAYS ARS IS JUST A TRIBUTE BAND. SUCH AS THE CURRENT INCARNATION OF SKYNRD. RIP RONNIE.....YOU ARE MISSED!

This song has haunted me for decades. And I'm sure not complaining. Sometimes its good to let the past back in. This song is surely one of those times.

if there's such a thing as southern rock/jazz/fusion this song is it...what do you call such smooth vocals and a kick ass honky tonk rhythm? The best the south had to offer, that's what you call it! RIP Ronnie....we'll keep you alive as long as we play your music!
