Good ol guy I do miss him. Some friends and I got to party with him and T-Model ford one night in Columbus,ohio. I even bought Kenny Brown a beer with my last five bucks I had...too funny! Thanks to the Manager Amos Harvey for allowing us to meet up with him backstage. We must of made an impression for him to hang out at our tavle that night. RIP RL, we'll keep the music alive for you!

Its hard to listen to any other Blues player besides him that wasn't; John Lee Hooker, Lead Belly, Robert Johnson, John Hurt, Son House, Howlin' Wolf, Bo Diddley, and Skip James. R.L. is favorite. I can hear his influence in the black keys, the white stripes, Eagles of Death Metal, and Dan Sartain.

This is great! This is some real blues for sure! Another great thing is he's playing a Dan-Electro guitar, which was made about 2 miles from my house in beautiful Neptune City, NJ. I never realized they were such a great blues axe!

You can just tell by watching him live, R.L. just loved to perform. I wish I had discovered his music before the Lord took him. May he always be remembered!

Don't know why but this music makes me feel sorta bad ass ha. Fuck the music nowadays, I mean there is a lot of good stuff out there just people my age don't go through the effort of finding it pity really. The media wants to keep it simple so the kids don't have to think, easier to brainwash them. Just had to get that off my chest great music thanks for sharing!:)
