The following video shows a very simple portable setup that we did within 10 minutes with the Chameleon V1 HF Multiband Antenna. We only used what is provided in the Chameleon V1 shipping kit:
•1 X 3/8-24 Mount Bar
•1 X C Clamp 2"
•25' of 20Ga Counterpoise
•1 X Steel Tent Stake 8" to hold the Counterpoise
•1 X CHAMELEON V1 HF Multiband Antenna™
•1 X CHAMELEON V1 UNUN 9:1
To support the antenna we also used a DX-Pedition Tripod which in NOT included in the shipping kit. This video was filmed Monday 30 November 2009 between 2h15 PM and 3h30 PM.
Today we had some QSB (signal fading) and it was also a little bit windy. With just an average ground you'll see that the noise is almost inexistent and the signal is very clear.
With that setting we'll show some RX samples from 80M to 17M.
Thank you for watching,

I've noticed there are only RX samples in both your videos.
Why not have someone make some contacts?
Your date is wrong in your description.

Thank you very much for pointing out the date error. It's very appreciated!
The reason why there is only RX samples in both of our videos is because at the moment we only wanted to show people that with even a basic setup (on portable & base station) it was possible to obtain good RX conditions with the Chameleon V1.
This video clarify this question: What is the RX quality with the V1 on a portable setup?
TX videos will come later when we or someone else will have the time to do so.
Cheers
