in other words, the order apparent in our world proves that if there is any type of significant immaterial force or aspect in relationship to it, it must also behave deterministically.. Maybe that is a little ambitious but its pretty much the primary reason I don't believe in the Abrahamic religions and I think it makes pretty good sense.. It means that any kind of Abrahamic god would be just as responsible for our actions as we are.

right on dude.. but what would u say if I said that I thought that the universe would still have to be deterministic even if there was an immaterial aspect on existance.. U know souls and stuff.. As long as it was connected to our universe it seems like it would have to be deterministic otherwise we'd see tons of random nether world shit happening and our souls would be telling us to do all kinds of random things..
Good point Shibby. If there is immaterial stuff connected to this deterministic world it would have to be deterministic as well.
