  • Another knock out ..home run, I saw him sing a song many years ago " September Memory" on the Opry. I can't find it any where. Does anyone know? It reminds me of my parents and hits the soul.

  • No one sings like Jimmy Dickens. Sing it again Bro.Dickens. On the level and by the square.

  • Man, It Don't Get No Better Than That!!!

  • @theadkins1234 - Thats my uncle. How are you his cousin?

  • i watch this and i think it's hard to believe that i'm a cousin of little jimmy dickens. i am i have a tape of him when he came home to wv .

  • I have seen Jimmy several times at the Opry. Have his Autograph. He is such a gracious and kind fellow. Like a next door neighbor but one that lives far away.

  • The band is - Dave Nigh on guitar, Pee Wee Rogers on Steel, Calvin Crawford on Bass, and Gary West on Drums.

All these guys were with Dickens for a long time.

  • Country Music Royalty! Need I say more?

  • It seems I just can never say enough about this great song sung so wonderfully by Jimmy. The musicians are fabulous. Just the sound they have is so enjoyable - just perfect country gold. I listen to this one every day and wish I could have been there when Jimmy was singing it on this particular Opry show. Thank s again for t his marvelous treasure. - Paula

  • What a great song and arrangement. Clark Ranger of KWKY Des Moines played many of Jimmy's ballads during his morning radio show in the 1970's.
