I have a question Fr. When you said that the gosple of life is the gosple of hope and that abortion is a sin against hope. Is this true for all sins that directly contradict the holy gosple, or is it true for sins that contradict life and its holy value?

ChristianPatriot, Abortion is a mortal sin because it is the murder of a human life. Mortal Sin is called mortal because it is a sin that seperates from God. A sincere confession would be the way to restore that friendship. You will often here the world say abortion is a woman's freedom of choice. In reference to the Gospel of Life, abortion is a sin against hope because there is no freedom and no choice in abortion. With life, there is hope.
