Alfredsson Shoots Puck at Niedermayer & Sucker Punches Moen

Daniel Alfredsson of the Ottawa Senators tries to injure Ducks Defenseman Scott Niedermayer by intentionally shooting the puck at him.

Just after Alfredsson shot the puck at Niedermayer, he sucker punches Travis Moen of the Anaheim Ducks in the face.

The Refs did NOT penalize Alfredsson for the punch or shooting the puck at Niedermayer.

@beertron7 Lol agree with everything except your dissertation that Pierre is a hockey genius. If he was he'd still have a job in the NHL. I think he's more knowledgeable than most, but he's overly opinionated, and usually has preconceived ideas on players and playstyles that will cloud his judgement during a game. He's got his "monsters" picked out before the puck drops.

But Alfie was definitely a bitch on this play. Can't believe you have such little respect for your fellow player to do that.

You are not loving your team any less by acknowledging when a player pulls a bitch move.

You can clearly see him shift his body after the initial wind-up.

'He was just dumping it in'...Really, genius? With two seconds left you're going to dump it in? Why not dump it on the inital wind up?

Also, even though he is annoying, the louder announcer is a hockey genius. But nope you sens fans know more than professionals, good job lol
