Payback - The Original Amiga Game

Before it hit the gba and iphone, It was an Amiga Game. GTA on AMIGA!!! Released in 2001 by Apex Designs.

The game supports AGA and RTG equiped Amigas and also 3D Hardware Acceleration via Warp3D. Plays great on my A1200 68040/25 + bvision. Game recieved many updates improving both performance and graphics. Plenty of options to enable gfx and efefcts. Game has multiplayer and rampage modes and some missions even allow you to go in buildings.

Lowres AGA mode used to record. Game does support higher resolutions (I dont think its a fixed limit). Game has CD Audio for music (not recorded by WinUAE). Intro plays to fast in Winuae. dissabling jit makes it play far too slow.

AmigaOmega - thanks, its in a funny format though (.lha or something), i assumed WinUAE would only run roms in .adf/zip format..?

@tdavies456 You have to remember Amiga isnt a game console, its a Computer so games apps whatever didnt come as roms. Youll likely need your Amiga or Virtual Amiga to have a workbench environment setup in order to unpack the game (lha is an Amiga archive format) and then run the game from their.

Its all a fair bit more advanced then just opening adf Disk images in uae, but then this is a very advanced Amiga game that required more grunt then any barebones amiga setup.

@tdavies456 Just to let you know, ROM means Read Only Memory which basically means that you got chips with data that are being read by a computer or video game consolle. Now those ROMs where typically used by consolles and the Amiga where and still are a computer and didn't use them, it used disks, CDs and harddrives. So if you download anything you would download a diskimage (ADF) or a CD-image. Never ROMs though.
