What a mess! I know how you feel when you look at all the water you wonder how it will ever go away but it will. Then you will have to clean up and see all the trophies left behind by the river.. In our Wabash flood plain there is more whiskey bottles than beer cans. Good Luck!
I live in Jackson County in Southern IL and agree the flooding everywhere is unreal. We don't live in the bottoms by the Mississippi, but the local river that feeds into it has backed up higher than ever, backing up creeks everywhere. And that is what our main problem is, higher than ever creeks. We to have some land that i dought will get planted at all this year due to dibriss
The ground is saturated, it's going to take 80's & some 90's to cook that out. Corn prices are high. I raise steers and am paying $7/bu + for cracked corn so i hope you guys put in some seed this spring.
