@jonnyboy5000: Actually, KENTA is just doing what he is supposed to do. It's his style both to give and receive stiff kicks to the head. I'm just a bit surprised, considering how stiff Japan usually is, that this got Maeda in trouble... maybe it hadn't become as stiff back then.

Frankly, this would be business as usual for KENTA. He must have been given the green light to do this, because otherwise he would have been fired many, many times over. There are montages of KENTA doing precisely this.
