sooo how would i graph something like y(x) = x + cosx
i know that its supposed to exhibit behaviors of both functions but i dont know how to graph it without having to do x= 0,1,2,...

Thank you :D

I have a question. For the x/3 example, couldn't you plug in 5 for x, or 2 for x and get a different factor of stretching/compressing? The example seems ambiguous.

Thanks for posting this. I was having a lot of trouble understanding it from my book but the step by step explanation that you gave helped a lot.

What about a transformation to a graph like the one in previous transformation videos, with absolute values: I f(x) I and f( IxI )
your awesome, I wish my teacher actually taught like you

Will you please do a video on solutions of linear systems by the echelon method?
Thank you
