Indeed, but firearms today are all about having it your way (sorry BK), you want a .50 BMG firing off a AR lower, they do that. A pistol firing 5.56 running on an AK like gas system, they do that to (SIg P556). Calibers have there purposes, but we as the sweet customized society we are like to choose how we deliver them. Besides, a carbine like this increases the 9mm's performance by maximizing its velocity

you buy a rifle with a 9mm upper for system familiarity, a expert with a M16/M4 wants something that works like it, no matter the caliber, instead of having to re muscle memory a new system

I don't like the 92FS I couldn't get it's aim right I was perfect with an M1911, but I would aim dead center with the Beretta and hit inches away i think maybe the sights were adjusted funny.
