@biglilantmo it has, repeated punching is chain puching, BJ penn used these type of chain punching very effectively, besides its not easy to master, takes years to get to this level on this video. these are dirt pubches with no loops, you can not beat these punches to the punch.

@biglilantmo Not necessarily, it depends on the situation. Sometimes a great defense wears down your oponent and then you learn their mistakes and then you can take advantage of them. Whereas if you proceed just swinging wildly you have no idea what you are in for. You want speed and power and defense. Normally the technique that you would use to produce speed also produces power, if executed properly. Hope this helps.

but i was always told in a self defense situation the best defense is a vicious offense. to be aggressive and explode on your opponent. so wouldnt you want that punch that can take one out in few blows.

@ordosincorporated i practice wing chun, and my teachers practice with Grand Master Sam Kwok. Taan Jing, or ANY other martial art is no better than any other. It's the ability of the practitioner that affects how good the martial art is.
