I wanted to do a special 'tribute' for VMJ on his 80th birthday -- 12th February, 2008. This video card gives you just a glimpse of his lengthy career...his love, dedication and contribution to the music industry.

Whether Jazz, Philly Sound, Disco or House -- it's all just 'dance music' of the day. VMJ was always in the middle of it......And he's still going strong today. For my dad, MUSIC IS EVERYTHING.
Happy 80th Birthday!!
XoXoXo Eileen

  • @MontanaPSW What a sweet thing you did for your dad-he has an equally special daughter. Thank him for all of us for giving us such happiness through his music. So well done, the best symphonic disco sound and creativity that is impossible not to dance to. May his music live forever.

  • @dam2630 Thank You for your kind message!! Please know that VMJ sees each and every comment written here and so the happiness comes right back to him....

  • @MontanaPSW I so enjoyed the card. I am a radio personality in Atlanta. I just want you to know how much I really adore your father's work. I've never had the pleasure to meet him, but I have been motivated by the music that he has produced over the years. In a perfect world, I would love to see a Salsoul element in the new millennium. Until that time I will enjoy Mr. Montana's brilliant accomplishments. Stay Positive! SiMan Baby Majic 107.5/97.5 Atlanta

  • When Vince Montana was on the vibes, wherever you were, club, car, etc, the mood would light up & fill with class, like vince, a true class act. Thank you for so much beautiful music.

  • The words to this song says it all..

your music was and is THE music of my life .....

Thank you and Denise for keeping us danceing our asses off through the years.

  • @MontanaPSW Pls see my message below Thx

  • My father was a violinist and my mother a pianist, both classically trained, but by the 70's they would head out to Regine's or Le Jardin; my stepfather was a VP at CBS records w/ Walter Yetnikoff. I was a budding DJ and I am proud to say I have many of 12" vinyl shown here, my favorite being the spectacular "Goody Goody" T-shirt cover. For a 15 year old New York City boy, that was special!!!! I still have it + cherish it to this day. "Runaway" w/L Hollaway is also sooo great. Such happiness!
