I wanted to do a special 'tribute' for VMJ on his 80th birthday -- 12th February, 2008. This video card gives you just a glimpse of his lengthy career...his love, dedication and contribution to the music industry.

Whether Jazz, Philly Sound, Disco or House -- it's all just 'dance music' of the day. VMJ was always in the middle of it......And he's still going strong today. For my dad, MUSIC IS EVERYTHING.

My father was a violinist and my mother a pianist, both classically trained, but by the 70's they would head out to Regine's or Le Jardin; my stepfather was a VP at CBS records w/ Walter Yetnikoff. I was a budding DJ and I am proud to say I have many of 12" vinyl shown here, my favorite being the spectacular "Goody Goody" T-shirt cover. For a 15 year old New York City boy, that was special!!!! I still have it + cherish it to this day. "Runaway" w/L Hollaway is also sooo great. Such happiness!
