THIS IS REAL. After a little tweak (you can do even in MS DOS), you can run almost every programs without login in (no password required!). In this video i tried to use firefox to browse web and windows media player to have some music, both works ! You can also have the taskbar by running explorer but sometimes do this can cause to some "unidentified" problem. (you can see that i cant open my computer folder and ie after clicking its icon on the start menu - nothing appeared). Also you can see thạt windows task manager isnt in it default shape. Havent tried gaming, because i'm running XP in a vmware and its soooooooooo lag.
Will test this trick on Vista and Windows 7 too..
Updated: this trick works on both vista and windows 7

ps: Music: windows xp tour music

  • This guy must have used some programs! Before the command prompt box appears, there's another box at the top left corner. This guy clicked on that box and it disappeared! I guess it's that box that brings up DOS window.

    Bingo?

  • No, that is my main OS dialog box (vista ultimate).

  • I'm using Windows XP and this is how u do it: 1. Go to WINDOWS\system32 folder(normally C:\WINDOWS\system32) 2. Then find the file sethc and cut it to desktop 3. Rename the cut sethc to sethc(real) 4. Then find the file cmd which is a command prompt icon 5. Copy that to desktop 6. Rename that to sethc 7. Then move it back to C:\WINDOWS\system32 8. Click yes if ask to replace 9. Log off and press shift 5 times 10. That's it
  • how come the program keeps closing on me???//

  • PS, u can only have a few programs open at logon, use alt and tab to switch programs. after u have so many things, programs stop loading. And IE9 slowly hogs those programs available, so use firefox 3.6 on vista or 9 on 7. the process is the same for vista and 7 as it is for xp.

  • I abused this on vista and win7for years. My parents dont let meknow my password, and most antiviruses dont work on logon screen, and so I ran a keylogger and asked them to log me on. ;) I also think u should know that on vista, programs that use video cards/directx/opengl dont work. thay do on 7 though. examples are minecraft and most emulators.

  • @bodhisattva09 No. This is a virtual machine and the Win7/Vista 5 times shift dialog appears ;) But when I press shift 5 times, nothing appears but default sound of shifting 5 times appears.. What's wrong???

  • How did u open cmd from the login screen

  • can you make one for vista

  • good job

  • @bodhisattva09 lol. that ain't the thing ...

  • @NastyNomi by "cmd doesn't work", i mean it dosen't appears.

  • hmm hey, i have a problem. i have replaced the "sticky keys" file with the "cmd" file but when i press the shift five times, the the short sound is played but the cmd dosen't work. but when i am logged in to the account the cmd does appears when i press it five times.

  • @undeadchronos if you are talking about the cmd. that it closes again and again, then you might have some virus in the PC. just a theory. not for sure.
